Maundy Thursday Worship

“Maundy” Thursday gets its name from the Latin “mandatum,” which means “commandment.” On the night before he was betrayed, Jesus gave his disciples a “new commandment to love one another” (John 13:34), and then he shared with them the bread and wine that would remind them of his coming sacrifice. We, too, can remember our Lord’s sacrifice by participating in this year’s Maundy Thursday worship service, which will take place in the sanctuary on Thursday, March 24, at 7 PM. We hope you’ll join us for this reflective time of praying for one another, reading scripture, and sharing the Lord’s Supper.
